Your statement about the controlled residential ventilation system is just as generalizing as the one about the 100k€, only not as sensational. Central controlled residential ventilation is not the same as controlled residential ventilation, just as little as the setup (with or without basement, in the wall or in the ceiling) and the effort. For me, 6k€ is for example only the material costs online. If you add the geothermal exchanger, then it’s easily more. And another normal person. I also have to admit and apologize that I did not think that far ahead (husband is an architect, but that by no means means he knows about small single-family homes). When building, you have to compare coldly and not justify and go along with every price. A controlled residential ventilation system for 140sqm does not cost 10k and is not worth it either. I get mine for 6k including installation (including enthalpy exchanger, flat ducts, and assembly, gross). If I hadn’t kept searching after the first 3 offers, I would have had to pay 5k more. This runs through our entire build. Compare, compare, compare... I don’t see why I should “just give away” 2 years’ net wages (not 100k)!
