I mean, it’s clear, understandable, and legitimate that there is a lot of lobbying going on here in the forum.

But some statements are borderline.

Making money is okay... But you don’t have to shove the customer off the cliff. Letting you jump yourselves. (That’s bad enough). But downplaying 100,000 euros is quite a statement...

Don't shout here, behave yourself, stay on topic, if you joke, then with a wink and self-irony. It's that simple. K.

100,000 more or less to be called relative is actually daring and to put it mildly far from the reality of most people in Germany. 100,000€ more would have meant for us - no home ownership possible. For many people, 100,000€ is an amount they can only dream of their entire life. So please stay grounded, 100,000€ is really a lot of money that a grandma has to knit for a long time.

Dear Bavarian woman, I would be very happy if you continue to let us be part of your journey. I always find it exciting to follow something like this.

And another regular person. I also have to admit and apologize that I didn’t think that far ahead (husband is an architect, but that by no means means he knows about small single-family homes). When building, you have to compare coldly and not justify or go along with every price. A controlled residential ventilation system for 140sqm doesn’t cost 10k and isn’t worth it. I got mine for 6k including installation (including enthalpy exchanger, flat ducts, and assembly, gross). If I hadn’t kept searching after the first 3 offers, I would have had to pay 5k more. This pattern runs throughout our entire build. Compare, compare, compare... I refuse to “simply give away” 2 years’ net wages (not 100k) to someone!
