So our kitchen was quoted at 24,000€, paid then 10,200 including assembly and delivery. And that with 2 granite countertops, cooking island, lighting, induction, extractor hood, wooden inserts in the drawers, and all appliances.

Yeah yeah, those dear kitchen stores ... of course it can be done for 5k, you just have to endure the hassle. Or just go straight to Ikea, there you have cost transparency. You can outsource the assembly, which then only costs a fraction. For that, you can buy your desired appliances at the best price online.

I will now configure my kitchen at IKEA and see roughly how much it would cost. According to your descriptions, the kitchen at the kitchen shop should then only cost a few thousand euros more, right? Honestly, I really don't feel like this haggling over prices, especially since you have no idea what price would be appropriate.

Best regards

People just keep babbling forever in the kitchen studio about what the actual price is and still end up feeling ripped off. Because every minute of time spent drives the price down. I simply don't want to deal with that stress. Feel free to compare. Planning the kitchen online at Ikea is much faster than sitting in some studio. But Ikea takes care of that too, I mean for little money or if you buy then it's deducted.

Hello

Now we've arrived at the kitchen.
Since I am a fan of doing it yourself, a tip: configure the kitchen yourself (it's quite easy because it's a grid system), buy the electrical appliances yourself, order high-quality kitchen furniture from a carpenter (the carpenter gets them delivered by the respective companies) and then assemble the kitchen yourself. Assembling it yourself is not rocket science either, it takes 2 days and when I assemble a kitchen, it's better put together than when the kitchen studio sends their installers. And that really saves money.

I don’t know what you would call "treats," but we also spent about 15,000 on our relatively small kitchen and I would say we have no treats. The Miele appliances (all together) only cost an additional 200, otherwise we just need a larger work surface and have a low plinth, but that’s it.
