I contacted two companies this week that have a large construction site and a lot of soil lying around. They also have Z0 lying around there. I will receive the offer from one today, probably from the second as well. But theoretically, it should only be cheaper, right? Because this way they don’t have to dispose of it and save on disposal costs. Should I have it compacted immediately or just have it delivered and compact it myself every 30cm?

The big question I ask myself: Can you possibly rearrange equity that is not tied up in financing? If not, how will the kitchen, furnishings, etc. be paid for later? There should still be a decent amount available from which you can redistribute the money accordingly.

Yes, I still have equity available. But the kitchen alone would cost about €15,000, then there’s another 10k for new furnishings, but really no more than that without feeling guilty.

For the kitchen that will be enough, for the rest 10k is rather little, depending on what is needed...

Then all is not lost yet. Kitchens are also available for half the price, even cheaper from the Swede. You can also buy furniture secondhand and focus first on the essentials.
Voilà, 15,000€ free equity.
Maybe you imagined it differently before, but what is more important: the Miele oven or the earthworks?
We have also planned 15,000€ for the kitchen (which we probably won’t need, in my opinion) but if push comes to shove, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to spend every euro of it on more important things. Kitchens are available with 0% financing if the money really runs out.
