Do you need LAN cables in the garage?

Keystones are more expensive to purchase per port than "cheap patch panels". You can simply plug them into an empty keystone frame afterwards. And he really wants to let them "dangle loose"? My God, how incompetent or shameless is this electrician?

Bedroom = TV (but of course also works via WLAN)

Make keystones everywhere. There are also patch panels that directly accept the keystones. In the bedroom, at most for TV or an access point.

Not for sleeping. But there are people who put a TV in the bedroom. Or an internet alarm clock. Or a computer. Or... As I said yesterday, I would only absolutely do it for the living room, offices, APs. Everything else is different levels of luxury; you have to know for yourself what you need.

I do not understand these questions "does one need", "do we need" etc. at all. Why should an outsider answer what YOU need? What do you expect to gain from that? Someone will answer "yes", another "no"... and now?

I understand the question very well. When building for the first time, you certainly do not have all the possibilities and use cases in mind. Asking for experiences and recommendations here is exactly the sense and purpose of a forum.

Yes, we are doing the keystones and then putting them into a frame in the network cabinet.

I have attached our floor plan.

We have installed CAT duplex sockets in the following rooms.

1x Living room behind the lowboard
1x Room 1 behind the lowboard (desk will be next to it) children's room
2x Studio left and right of the window, each with a duplex socket (desk and lowboard for TV and console)
1x Garage

Room 2 = dressing room and Room 1 bedroom
With every CAT duplex socket, a satellite cable has also been laid, except in the garage and in the living room a twin cable.

No TV is planned in the bedroom (we want to try not to have a TV everywhere :D)

Yes, I just want to draw on your experience so I don't make any mistakes
