Do you need LAN cables in the garage?

Our house costs about 500k

I would say it is mid budget, maybe even low budget

Our only immediate use case would be to bring LAN into the garden house and mount an access point there or mount his access point on the back side.

If the access point in the living room fails.

Another problem is we are not allowed to prepare access points for ceiling mounting.

We have to place the access points on the cabinet or lowboard.

The developer says you will have problems with the structural engineering if you drill holes in the ceiling.

We can only place the access point on the cabinet or lowboard.

Unfortunately, I still don't know if the access point in the living room is sufficient to provide Wi-Fi for the garden and garage. High speed does not need to be achieved.

And whether we should plan LAN in the garage or not.

Or should we only install Simplex at the desk and in the garage?

At the desk duplex.
The living room does not supply the garden and garage when doors and windows are closed.
And you don’t have any lights on the ceiling either? That’s just stupid talk… he just doesn’t want to.

They’re getting into trouble?! That’s what the structural engineer is for, to assess that. How are your pipes (water etc.) supposed to be laid? Along the outside of the wall?! From what you read, I’d almost think that out of the 500k, 100k profit ends up in the carrier’s pocket. Then you’re also not allowed to have any spotlights in the ceiling? Surface-mounted sockets?

Sorry for the sarcasm, but I think you’re letting the carrier lead you strongly by the nose.

Do you have anything custom regarding the exterior dimensions, or did the carrier happen to have something suitable with them? Then they want to save themselves the statics because it’s already finished and in the drawer.

If I were you, I would install an access point near the terrace, so you probably have sufficient coverage in the living room, garden, and garage. (Depending on the actual arrangement on the site plan).

Depending on the panes, there is 0 reception behind them. Therefore, provide a separate access point on the terrace/garden.
