No no of course I have dealt with it, I was just interested in your opinion or experience reports And as long as you are not building yourself, there is no choice anyway ;-)

I believe mistakenly assumed that an air-to-air heat pump (air-to-air heat pump) or even an exhaust air heat pump would be installed. But that is not the case.

I have Weishaupt myself and am satisfied with it. They are actually Dimplex heat pumps. Weishaupt has a nationwide technician network with its own staff, which can be an advantage. I find the products themselves solid, but elsewhere there is more bling-bling (for correspondingly more money).

EDIT: The device seems rather oversized with 8 kW output in the KFW 55 construction, and there is no smaller device in this series. The heat pump is "fixed speed," i.e., not an inverter system that modulates its output. If you then install a buffer tank, cycling is inevitable. Overall, a rather price-oriented solution.

Simply put, the heat pump can only be on or off, producing 8 kW or 0 kW. If your house requires 1-3 kW of heat during the transitional period (most of the year), the heat pump has to constantly switch on and off to heat but not produce too much heat. This affects the efficiency and especially the durability of the heat pump.

Can you still intervene there? Not because of the manufacturer but because of the performance. 8kW is very much for a new building. More like 5kW and definitely modulating. There are also renovated old buildings that range between 5kW and 7kW.

Thank you all
No, that is standard in the construction description. I wouldn’t know how I could intervene there, but could bring it up anyway
