I am still pro purchase, but there are still many thoughts ;-)

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that you make a decision that makes you happy!

Over €800,000 for 145 sqm and 160 sqm of land... I no longer understand the world in Germany. 160 sqm minus the house footprint, driveway/parking space and terrace leaves only a small flower bed as a garden. For €800,000, a few years ago one could have settled in dream villas or bought exquisite Gründerzeit villas. Thanks already. Well, I’m just comparing what I currently pay in rent, what I would have to pay with a second child, to then know what I could afford for repayment. Also, my wife is working part-time. There is also a financial background in the family, although I get 0 euros from my parents, which I actually find quite good. Well then, I will probably have the contracts drawn up and then take a close look and survey the market again over the next 4 weeks. What’s annoying is that I almost signed for 1.02% interest in September with the same parameters. However, the house was a Dacia back then with 120m2 and 250m2 land (according to the land register 280m2 divided property ownership, don’t know if that’s why the interest was so good)? Today 145m2, quality Volkswagen with 160m2 land.
For someone from the countryside (Lower Saxony) like me, that's also incomprehensible. Someone here would be called completely crazy for buying something like that for the amount, and the banks would laugh at you. But apparently, a different perspective on this prevails in the cities.Over €800,000 for 145 sqm and a 160 sqm plot...
