Comfort: Air/Water Heat Pump vs. Air/Air Heat Pump

Hello everyone,
we are currently facing exactly the same question. We are planning a 150 sqm single-family house with at least KFW55 standard and keep hearing different opinions from various construction companies. By now, we are totally confused.

Actually, like Matze, we just want an efficient heating system that doesn’t leave you cold. Gas, pellet, or oil are not an option for us. Therefore, for us, only air-to-water heat pumps or air-to-air heat pumps remain.
So far, only negative responses have come regarding the air-to-air heat pump. But can you warm the house with an air-to-water heat pump in cold winters?

To put it bluntly, it seems rather difficult nowadays to cool down highly insulated buildings.

Heat pumps have been successfully used for decades, and not only in our mild climate, but also a few meters higher up in Austria or in Scandinavian countries (one of the technology leaders, the company Nibe, is from Sweden).

Dear Julia, construction companies are not consultants but salespeople. You are supposed to buy what they offer. What they can do (and what they profit from).
Entrepreneur A will therefore always talk down the solution from B. The golden solution always exists only at one company, the others naturally only build ruins.
