Why can't you manage to give us more information? For example, who the house offer is from and who the garage is from?

In our case, the house was significantly more expensive and the huge double garage considerably cheaper. But I have no idea about that facing stone thing, something like that doesn't exist in our area. Maybe that's why it's so expensive.

How detailed the offer and construction service description are would also be helpful. Are all your wishes included? Which costs are on the construction side?

If you want sensible advice, we will simply need a lot more information.

How much does a red station wagon cost? But by now I believe that none of this is meant seriously, otherwise you would address our inquiries a bit more.

This is an extremely high cost. It is already factored in for us. We ended up at €420K with a 10-year fixed interest rate (1.50%). Equity with €30K ... we are still holding back €20K ... KFW subsidy not included as it is only paid out when construction is completed. It will then be used for special repayments (5% per year). Rate at €1300 with a combined income of €4800. The €420K includes outdoor facilities + incidental costs, construction costs, land, everything included.

Well, I wouldn't say extremely high, the other providers were basically always in this range as well. The seller was definitely very sure of himself, he would have rather sent us to another company than deviate even one euro from his quoted price. Sink or swim, so to speak. Unfortunately, it's Upper Bavaria in the year 2022 plus a Corona surcharge... I can't judge whether the calculation fits you. I just advise you to get several offers and compare whether your provider is suspiciously cheap. If that's the case, something is usually wrong.

I praise once again the much-forgotten and yet often purchased terraced house in the middle: my entire house with garden, land, and photovoltaic system didn't cost that much. Along with the "disadvantage" that I don't have a straight staircase, a super practical but a thousand times built floor plan, and no windows on the side. Perhaps that is what saves the most money: the stupid land around the house that you don't end up using but still have to keep the grass short. Where the dog likes to pee because there are hedges to the neighbor. A terraced house buyer doesn't have to pay for that little patch of earth. And with today's construction methods, you won't notice anything from the neighbors either. So why not a terraced house or an end-of-terrace house when funds are tight?

In which region are you building?

We are also not building in a metropolis and come to just under 305k for the house according to the energy saving ordinance, without a basement, without a garage, nearly 153 sqm including the upgrades for electrical, sanitary, and fireplace. Construction contract from Nov. 2020
