Some here in the forum have far too little information to be able to judge that realistically, and the only person who could change that isn’t getting moving. ;)

The "stately" grant is hopefully already settled.

Hello Zipfel,

this is a house building forum, if you only want positive feedback, I don’t know if this is the right forum. It’s about getting objective opinions here. I have a friend who is an architect and he warns against setting prices too low in times like these. So just a tip: check if you can get around 50,000 euros as a reserve from your family in an emergency. With that budget and income, I wouldn’t build a 65,000 garage. I wish you success with the project.

: Why are you just "egg-ing" around here and not providing the data that's needed? Make a clear list of all wishes and expenses and you'll see, it keeps growing and growing. And thus the costs also rise once everything has been compiled...

I've already been through the homeownership project. The interest rates were higher then, but the construction costs were lower.

The other way around: What requirement makes it necessary for it to be a double garage with facing bricks? Why wouldn’t a double carport be sufficient? I once learned that you can only spend each euro once, so you have to prioritize. If your priority is to have a magnificent home for your cars, then that’s okay. It should just be a well-considered decision…
