But the holy tin box has to be washed at least every 2 weeks on Saturday afternoon and then parked in front of the garage so the neighbors can see it ;)

When do I sign with the property developer?

Do I only sign after I have the confirmation from the bank but not the loan contract, also with regard to the commitment interest? 12 months have been agreed. So delay the signature at the bank as far back as possible?
What are your experiences?

Are you really building with a property developer?
I thought you had already bought the plot?

We first spoke with the bank and got the basic approval.
Then signed the construction contract and only a little later the loan agreement.

But you should be sure that the bank will really say yes, otherwise it will become unpleasant. And we already had a very precise detailed cost estimate for the bank – even at our first meeting with the bank and before we signed the construction contract.

Yes, we have the plot and yes, also with the developer. Curious to see if it works... Have you already gotten an okay from the bank beforehand? Written confirmation of the financing? Okay, so the loan agreement at the end and the interest rate, conditions etc. stay the same if you get the okay in advance?
