Yes, it actually meets quite a few "wishes." I need to think about it for a few days. But at first glance, I'm not sure if I like the location of one of the children's rooms and the utility room.

Take a look further down in the financing section, there are threads about incidental building costs or why building a house always gets more expensive.

You have to gather all costs, including all your building materials for the self-performed work. It is somewhat tedious for you because of the extensive self-performance.

Do you have many helpers who have preferably learned the trade? A lot of time is spent on that in construction.
With our house-building company, there was a young couple who had a shell structure erected in 2015. The rest was intended to be finished by the man and his father. They moved in at Easter 2018.

The utility room is actually quite well located. You can still swap rooms.

So we have calculated the material for the self-performed work. But good point.
And that is exactly where many misjudge, because it is really “crazy” how much quickly adds up.
However, a good buffer is still planned here.
And the second mistake you can make here: or rather many make: not sticking to your own plan.
Like for example, “You only build once” and then a few euros more here and a few euros more there...

Yes, you only build once, it costs money. But all the ancillary construction costs are expensive. What does the man say, not another building owner unit (1,000 euros)

Secondary construction costs, we need to bring some order into this. For us. House turnkey 163. Extra wishes and garage 11. Kitchen 4500, garden and paving 15, painting and floors 10. Total house thus about 203. Additional costs. For us earthworks extra 7, telecom and gas water sewage electricity 9, permits insurances 1, surveyor and cadastral office surveying 1, blinds 1, moving 1, topping-out ceremony 0.5, construction power and water 0.5 gives 21 Total house without land completely 224. Plus land 68. Total 292 with everything really ready to move in. Karsten
