Why will it be a bungalow and not a 1.5-story house?

A simple rule of thumb is 2000 euros per square meter turnkey. It can be done cheaper, so 250,000 to 300,000. The Nordlys bungalow was smaller and more expensive than the numbers you specified. Nordlys built extremely cost-conscious.

Here, most people plan turnkey with a maximum of flooring and walls done by themselves.
You didn't mention that you do unusually much work yourself.

The plan for a 1.5-story house is in place. Or rather, was basically the first. There are also no doubts about how we would align and build it. But with the right solution for a bungalow, we are happy to pay an extra cost and would simply prefer everything on one floor... But as you yourselves recognize, our floor plan is just not the be-all and end-all...
