I already know what you mean. On the floor plans, the entire party wall to the neighboring house is 30cm thick – it should actually already include insulation, right?

Yes, I would think so too.

In the construction specification, it states that a 17.5 cm KS block is to be used. Additionally, the 12 cm stone wool including plaster should make up about 30 cm.

So our main contractor planned from the beginning to insulate the entire side. However, in the last conversation, he said that we would only insulate the exposed walls because we would have to pay around €5500 for the complete side insulation. As for how exactly he wants to do it, we will clarify that in the next meeting, as mentioned.

At least give you the possibility to gain an additional 12 cm in width.

I have looked into the subject of foundation again because of the middle house cellar and found something interesting in the neighboring law of Ba-Wü (see attachment).

Accordingly, if we build first, the middle house can demand that we build deeper in order to avoid higher costs for him later due to supporting the building. However, the middle house must then also bear the costs for the deeper foundation. Good to know.
The question now is what happens if the middle house builds first? Let's see if I can find anything about that.

A quick update again:

There is apparently a hammer and ladder right in neighborhood law, which states that you must allow your neighbor onto your property (including underground) if it is otherwise not possible or would otherwise become very expensive. So we will probably have to agree to or allow an interception of our house at a later time, it should not be built immediately and we should foundation deeper beforehand.
