If we now want to build without a basement and include the neighboring house and we were to start the construction, the foundation would be laid directly downwards so that the middle house does not have to support us later. Otherwise, the later general contractors will exchange the plans so that, for example, when building offset, only the exposed walls are insulated and not completely.

For the general contractors, it is like building a semi-detached house with our corner house - totally relaxed and nobody panics.

I am glad to get both sides from you - we will then find our own individual way together with our preferred general contractor and not with a compromise contractor.

The theorist disparagement is basically the daily bread of the management consultant

And, of course, from a professional point of view, there can be different opinions - therefore I always try to justify mine so that one can understand when to agree (or first of all recognize whether one follows it).

I am therefore happy both if my view is considered justified; as well as if one thinks that in my opinion not an optimal approach does not necessarily lead to disaster, but can remain manageable.

The fate of the triple digger can still threaten joint planners, namely on the part of the house introducers of electricity / gas / water / telephone.

Something new has come up:

after the corner house at that time ultimately did not take the building plot, the middle house has decided to take over the corner plot that is becoming available, and thus there is already a new middle house neighbor, whom we will meet next week.

We have already had initial contact and found that the new "neighbors" would like a basement as well as a shed or flat roof. However, the corner houses have gable roofs. The roof pitch must be identical for all three houses.

Let's see how it goes from here.

Well, that doesn’t sound bad at all. Good luck continued!

Oh, so much specification for the uniformity of the row is there after all – had I overlooked that until now? – that’s already not a bad foundation. I would find profile consistency (so also eaves height etc. the same) even better – but only sensible without offset as well.

Very entertaining, the thing. I'm so curious how it will look in the end.

Had contact with the building authority again today regarding the shared roof pitch, which I find somewhat unnecessary for staggered houses: Apparently, this is a requirement for urban planning reasons – well.

Another question regarding the distance from the house to the street. From when can building commence? Answer:

With regard to the distances to the street, it should be noted that the specified measurement of 2.50 m is the minimum distance. Basically, the distance is 0.4 of the street-side height; i.e. at 6.50 m = 2.60 m and at 11 m = 4.40 m.

Does this then mean that with the 2.5-story gable roof, the side facing the street counts only the two full stories WITHOUT the roof including the attic, and with the shed roof, which is built up to the full height, the actual total height?
