"Das" (singular) means: only one middle house, i.e. a three-unit block?

The basement owner has to secure those without basements, not the other way around.

I would consider it most practical that in step 1 he builds his basement, and in step 2 then his neighbors coordinate their floor slabs and he his basement ceiling.

Yep... three-unit row.

We just hope that the neighbors also start early so that we can begin shortly after. However, they will also have a rather quick appointment at Viebrockhaus to discuss the schedule. Then we'll see how things look.

Let's see if our own schedule to move in by August 2020 at the latest can hold.

The sharpness was not intended. Sorry!

It was only meant to show that the castle in the air built up over many pages of a uniform construction with your preferred main contractor does not work like that, but now a different situation prevails. The middle house builder determines when it starts, determines the construction method, etc. etc. Do you want that? It just sounded a bit different until now.

So: we never had the desire to build a completely uniform row house. That everyone now wants to build individually, we had almost expected.

The middle builder wants and will probably also want to start directly after the development, as they urgently need more space. Otherwise, he determines nothing further, as he also wants a gable roof like us. Our disadvantage currently is that we have to wait for their basement.

I don't find that so bad at all, since the middle terraced house also has to be built about 2.5 to 3m further back due to the parking spaces, and our house then stands more "free". To the rear towards the garden, the overhanging house then provides privacy. And since our house faces south, the terraced house doesn't block our sunlight either. Unfortunately, it's different with the other terraced house.

If you have a complete drawing sometime, then just show it here. That of course helps to improve your design, if there is one.
