Which smart home system is suitable for our new building?

"Enhanced" burglary protection only means that it takes longer for the burglar to get in. It would be sensible if you are alerted before he/she has successfully managed it. And you are not filming yourself, but of course only activate the surveillance when you are away or at night. You want a smart home, so you will certainly have different scenarios such as presence, etc. I have the eufy doorbell with the dual camera, don’t know exactly what the model is called now. But I still have to test whether I can integrate it satisfactorily into ioBroker, otherwise I will send it back.

I am currently also interested in the Eufy

Do you have a Smart Display (Echo or Nest) and how quickly is the image from the Eufy displayed there?
Is the image shown there automatically?

Which assistant do you find better, Google or Alexa?

No, I (yet?) don’t have a Smart Display, I want to integrate the image into the central tablet via ioBroker or display it via app on the smartphone. When I actively retrieve the image, establishing the connection takes exactly 5 seconds. I still have to test how fast everything else works.

We have Alexa, simply because I once received an Echo as a gift and then built on it. Nowadays, however, the aunts annoy me because I am constantly asked to rate my latest order. If I ever have a lot of time, I prefer to look into open-source voice assistants, but until then I stick with Alexa (simply because it’s already there and works fairly reliably).

I already find 5 seconds long until the image appears

I don't have any voice assistant yet and am basically starting from zero

I think if I choose Alexa, I'll take the Ring doorbell and possibly (if needed) the cameras

if I choose Google, then the Nest doorbell and cameras (if needed)

If they are the same (and no third-party providers like eufy), then it definitely works smoothly without delay

Then you don't need to think further about WLAN doorbells and the like below professional solutions, because they all take longer, sometimes much longer.

I use an Omada system (router, 2 switches, and 2 APs, soon 4) and can't really complain except that the maximum number of groups and ACLs is a bit too limited for me. On the other hand, I don't know Unifi, so I can't compare :p The question is always what you specifically want to do with it and how experienced you are. Setting up the 5 VLANs with ACLs for separation was not 100% intuitive, but it runs great.
