100%. - I agree with you on that. The current utility room wasn’t fully thought through, as initially a larger attic for all sorts of stuff was planned.

I’m not too worried about the garden things. The family lives next door. Has 2 attached garages. Over 70. So it’s clear what we want (and will) use and how (already decided). But you can’t know that either.

I think people often can’t see the forest for the trees. That’s challenging, which is why it might be hard for to understand that it’s hard for me to understand. But we’re working on it, and thanks to your help it will work out.

No, he doesn’t understand you for a much more banal reason: because you remain silent. My monologue to you is full of unanswered questions, it can’t work like that.

I am silent less, I simply do not understand you and now read the recommended threads to avoid further remarks.

We have nephews and nieces. Everything is just lying around. As naive people, we think it has to do with upbringing. But slowly, I no longer believe in that. Point for the forum.

Sometimes, as a [Ochs vorm Berg], I am the one who needs direct instructions. I have now looked at Katja’s idea once again and considered it.

My method so far has been as follows: outside in, inside out. Somehow onto our floor plan, then move everything around and sometimes take 20 cm away here and stick it somewhere else. It is a process to approach it completely differently. Our architect throws his hands up in horror and so do the craftsmen I ask for quotes with 3 different floor plans for cost calculation.

I have now created a list for us of rooms, their square meters, and whether they are on the ground floor or upper floor. Otherwise, no restrictions except of course the dear money and the property.

Form follows function. Let’s see if this approach will move me forward.

But that's not so difficult. I wondered why you "approved" something when I consider you its author - no answer. You said you "started from scratch" - but: methodically "how"? - not with the room list as I suggested, you only just mentioned that. I also linked explanations about thinking the upper floor before the ground floor - again nothing. Then I wrote that you could go against my advice - but then please explain why (only that way can we understand you). Silence in the forest, all the trees are useless.

I had to search for the puzzle pieces of knowledge. But slowly I understand your words. As said: list is made. I read [Threads]. We put the list into a plan, starting with [OG]. Then [EG]. Then we'll see how the place looks.

The Federal Minister of Health warns: do not read the thread by as instructions!

Logical. Then the answer can only be: from to.
