And by the way, another gas pipeline to [D] and through [D] is being built… So much for no gas being built in 2021… pfff.

Sounds strange, but it is… (by the mouse, five words and such)

One thing is corruption and wanton destruction of our only habitat. The other is what a reasonable person should do. Unless you have no children and don’t care about anything. But even then, you should have enough pumps in the basement. Half of Europe is drowning, while at the other end the forests are burning again. How ignorant can you be to still use gas in 2021 in a NEW BUILDING!! Feel free to ask the politicians who make sure it’s installed in a new housing area!

According to calculations, the CO2 tax on gas is expected to cost about €120 per 10,000 kWh heating demand starting from 2025. Heat pump electricity has also steadily increased over the past years (now around 20 ct/kWh). This remains exciting and should also be taken into account.

I have to jump in here again. We ruled out an air-to-water heat pump because an outdoor unit is not an option. A compact unit with only an indoor part is also not an option (it takes up too much space and can be loud in winter). What remains: gas or a geothermal heat pump. A geothermal heat pump (deep drilling) is supposed to be significantly more efficient than the air-to-water heat pump and would be allowed for us. But the additional cost compared to gas is already quite high. You wonder when you will make that back compared to gas. For now, we are planning without solar / photovoltaic. Only nowadays, you feel guilty when building with gas (it's a pity that opinions have changed so drastically in recent years). We were actually leaning towards gas, but because of all the dissatisfaction, we will plan with a geothermal heat pump.

And why exactly should I base my decisions on what "ONE" supposedly does or doesn’t do...?
