- heats better (turn it up -> hot)
- the unit is quieter
- doesn’t ruin my garden
- for the same price as an air-to-water heat pump I even have solar on the roof and have hot water all summer for free...
- and the best part – together with the ventilation system I also get the Kfw subsidy...

;-)

Does the underfloor heating know that too? Or please tell me how I can teach that to the underfloor heating ;)

Is it? If you at least look at the datasheets of the unit, you will find a sound power of +/- 50db. And surprise, the same numbers also appear for the heat pump.

Point for you. Although the outdoor unit can also be well integrated (e.g. enclosure). But it does not take up space inside.

My heat pump cost 3,000€. How much did your boiler cost again besides the gas connection?

If anything, then please complete: gas boiler, gas connection, solar thermal system, chimney, second meter including basic tariff, and of course the regular visits from the chimney sweep.

are you even still following this thread? Besides the personal exchanges between individual forum members... what questions do you possibly still have?

Hello :
We have now decided completely differently and are going the route with a geothermal heat pump.
I would prefer gas over an air-water heat pump, as it is unbeatable in terms of price (purchase + operation). But due to various discussions, future developments, etc., we have turned our backs on gas.

I have now struggled through 17 pages and throw in a single word that speaks against heat pumps:

NOISE LEVEL!

signed by a homeowner who can clearly tell, from 20 meters away with the window closed, exactly when the neighbor is in the shower and the air-water heat pump is heating water. Unimaginable if every house were heated like this..

And now please another round of discussion;)
