Anyone who is still seriously considering gas heating systems in new buildings, I would like to recommend the current Rezo video. (Zerstörung Teil 2: Klima-Katastrophe)

Anyone who can objectively refute Rezo's arguments can feel free to get back in touch here. By the way, "hair color" and "youth language" do not refute anything. ;-)

I'm hopefully not so confused as to imagine that I have also read critical reviews/experiences on the topic of heat pumps or e-mobility; you can even partially read that here.......use the search function. Claims of knowing a panacea or the perfect solution have always made me suspicious, as here: heat pump=good / gas heating=bad. I can claim that I have dealt with this for a very long time but still do not believe I have found the ecological and all-in-one heating solution. It bothers me when someone who wants to install a gas heating system with flow temperature is cornered like that.

Of course, you can find critical voices on everything on the internet and in forums. But above you mentioned science. In that case, it would make sense to at least name a source or an argument and not just write "search yourself, you'll find an argument that confirms my statements."

Aha. You find nothing, but I’m supposed to use the search function. Great forum!

And it has NOTHING to do with good or evil if there is a technology that can achieve climate neutrality and one that cannot. One technology is simply no longer up for debate... And if you have something better than heat pumps that can be used to heat climate-neutrally, please write it here!

I am also an advocate of heat pumps, but gas heating should be preferred to heat pumps if the electricity for the heat pump is generated, for example, from lignite. It is then not climate-neutral, but better.
However, heat pumps with photovoltaic or green electricity cannot be topped.
Everything must be viewed in a differentiated way.
