At our place, the one who does the shopping takes care of it.
My question is aimed at the fact that some people here do find their home furnishings great, because they paid for them, but not because they have any daily interaction with them. Laundry + shopping, a favorite topic with the head of the household.

Yes, pointless. Typical men’s house. The planning starts with the garage. Then they think about how to create the most permanent connection to the car. One wonders why the wife isn’t just sleeping outside in the garage and the car gets to cuddle on the sofa. Then the direct door from outside to the utility room would make a lot more sense... for the (cleaning) woman.

What I always wonder is, when the oh-so-muddy cyclist has scratched their way through the cars and made it through the utility room door, is the dirt just allowed to stay there? Or is it crucial for the sweaty shirt whether it turns off on the shortest path to the washing machine? All that, just to stand naked in the hallway afterward? Next time I want to ride my bike, do I look for the muddy shoes under the pile of laundry or are there special mud-shoe cabinets in the utility room?

I think the real reason is probably that the men secretly sneak to their car in an unobserved moment and caress it. They just don’t want to admit it!

Aside from that, I really don’t like the design at all. The main rooms (dining and kitchen) are narrow, tunnel-like, and uncomfortable rooms. The chill-out area looks hardly inviting.
The bitten-off corner at the entrance is supposed to achieve what now? Originality at all costs?

2D and 3D do not show the same house. The cantilever of the upper floor to the left on the plan is ridiculously expensive nonsense, and the bay window on the ground floor is also a useless money-wasting misplanning. I would definitely not set the garage back but have it protrude forward. The bathroom should be swapped with the storage room, because where it is located, it would get morning sun. The cloakroom only has the approval of my minority faction here and otherwise gets severe criticism for its "too small" size.

You are getting carried away with nonsense to the point where one doesn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

Well, I just found it practical in my mind. In the current house (new build with 4 units) we have an underground garage. Here I ride my bike through the garage door and start taking off the top layers of clothing there. That already leaves quite a bit of dirt. Then I stash the dirtiest clothes in the basement and go into the apartment on the ground floor in underwear. With a 7 m wide garage, you should also be able to easily get past two cars or use the back door from the [KER], since that’s where the bikes are parked anyway. Therefore, it’s practical not only for groceries (which I really do), but also from a hobby point of view in my eyes.

Hmm, that was a design from another company without any major specifications from me.
Honestly, I was hoping for somewhat more constructive feedback. No offense, but comments like “I don’t like the design” don’t help me/us much. I am definitely open to concrete suggestions for improvement or even a completely different floor plan. But I haven’t found anything like that here so far.

That’s true, it was more about showing the elevation with the new slopes. Unfortunately, our CAD program is less suited for house construction, so I had to use a simple rectangular shape.

Yes, I agree with you there as well. Originally, I had intended to omit the bay window because the costs are almost the same if I enlarge the upper floor straight away instead of creating a flat roof.

I also agree, that was the idea in my original floor plan.

Since my jackets mostly lie around in the car anyway or hang in the closet, the wardrobe isn’t really important. We currently have none at all, but I did want to provide a small one if the number of residents increases.

Now you're acting strange.
After we all expressed doubts about your earthworks here and mentioned them, you vehemently defended the position of the house.

At this sentence (on page 1), those who might have tried a different approach in drawing stop here.*

On page 2 or 3:

You are defending here what we question. came up with new ideas, but you were still stuck on your earthworks and your problem door between garage/utility room.

*I don't know how long Katja spends on her designs. She already puts out quite a bit, maybe it also depends on the program. But both Kerstin and I have a hard time cracking that nut with our program, and that besides work life as well. That's why you don't hear much from us.
If someone is as resistant as you, you consider whether to invest even just 1-2 hours. When you get into the details, an evening can quickly pass.
Ultimately, this is not just about a simple sketch of the interior design, but still about the placement of the house... and on that most opinions agree.
