Does the knowledge in earthworks also include the procurement and installation of L-shaped stones to retain the embankment? A five-figure amount should be budgeted for this.

That too. But the embankment will be graded with a slope of 1:1.5 and sown with grass. I have more than enough space. In total, there are 560m3 of excavation and 200m3 of reinstallation. Of course, the sewer house connection and the empty conduits for the supply lines will be laid before the embankment up to the floor slab. So I’ve already saved that excavation. Some homeowners with basements certainly have more earthworks in some cases. I just like it when the area around the house is level (the robotic lawn mower will thank me) and I have an unobstructed view of nature at the back.

What are you doing about surface water to ensure it stays on the area even during heavy rain?
How are you securing the slope?

Yes, terrible. I also see the placement more like this:

Although I really ignored the heights now, since the OP wants to level everything anyway.

The area is not sealed. The crest of the slope is slightly raised so that no water can overflow the crest. It is not secured at all. It is interlocked according to ZTV E-Steuerberater and overbuilt by 1m during construction, compacted, then reconstructed to the required slope and subsequently planted.

I positioned the house this way to have a clear view of the field to the rear. To the south, there is a green strip with corresponding planting/forest as specified in the development plan. Hence, the living space including the terrace is oriented towards the west.
