Well, I currently have the same window in my office with a nearly identical floor plan and find it sufficient. On paper, I admit it looks a bit lost.

Yes, I removed the north arrow. But your assumption about directions is correct. I also considered it, but putting a couch in front of a floor-to-ceiling window seems wasteful to me somewhere.
Ok, the window will of course not provide widespread light. I’ll mention it.
In the bedroom, the wardrobe will be placed in an L-shape. Pax is already there. Additionally, two dressers will be placed in front of the wall that is recessed 30.5 cm backwards. The parents’ bed is currently positioned like that with us, and my side works there too. We can still move the bed down a bit since the access to the garage terrace won’t be coming for now.
The bathroom is planned differently now. The toilet and washbasin remain in the same place, but the shower will only be enclosed by a straight wall and accessible from the side of the toilet. Very open and the light from the window works quite well there. Unfortunately, I can’t publish the plan.

Thanks for the comments!

Why is there this wall in front of the closet in the bedroom? Privacy screen?

You really can't "call" it a dressing room..

Somehow a huge waste of space in the bedroom because of it ops:

I would swap Child 1 and Work in the upper floor, then move the wall so that the proportions fit again.
Give Child 1 two windows on the south and east sides. For Child 2, also one window on the south side, and for that, one of the west windows can be removed.
The kids will eventually spend almost all their time in their rooms just like you do downstairs in the living area, where you want it to be bright and filled with light.

In the master bedroom, I would omit the partition wall; you can also place a wardrobe there as a room divider, which can be moved or replaced at will for future change requests. If the TV is supposed to go there, there is also something like a "living room wall unit" that could hold it.

The technical room on the ground floor should be combined with a storage, heating, and pantry room and possibly also for laundry? Due to the room climate, I would separate the pantry from that and, when positioning the door from the hallway, consider at which point a wall could be drawn there later.

Really no bathtub? Think about it, when the children are smaller, you actually only bathe them - do you always want to get wet then because there is only a walk-in shower?

Between windows with a parapet height over 120 cm ("Kellerfenster") and floor-to-ceiling windows, there should also be other parapet height options. Because floor-to-ceiling windows behind the sofa I also don't find good. Itenzer's idea regarding swapping Child 1 and the office I also find good. You can tell in many rooms from the window positions that the external appearance is more important here than the position of the window in the room. A lot of windows are directly next to walls, so that possibilities for placing cabinets are limited. Child 2, office, bedroom, door from terrace to garage.

is right! Even if you usually shower, there are situations when you take a bath, e.g. a cold, etc. That should be possible with 170 m².
