Well, that already looks pretty well planned. I don’t think it’s bad, even if I wouldn’t do everything that way. But I have to criticize one thing: The window in Child 1 is really tiny. It is floor-to-ceiling, but to me it’s too small. Don’t you want to let in a bit more light there?
Well, I currently have the same window in my office with a nearly identical floor plan and find it sufficient. On paper, I admit it looks a bit lost.
Hmm ... here are some things I noticed. Unfortunately, the drawings are missing a north arrow again.
GF
[*]Sofa and window with a sill height of 125 cm ... that always gives me a basement feeling, especially since, if I looked correctly, that should be the south side and the drawing in the original post was oriented north.
UF
[*]The hallway will be really bright opposite Child 1. In Child 1, I would rather choose a much wider window with a sill height. Because the narrow tall window does not let light in over a wide area of the room
[*]You have around 20 sqm for the parents’ area, but only space for a 3 m wardrobe
[*]The parents’ bed has about 300 cm of space including nightstands next to the window. With only 30 cm nightstand depth and 200 cm mattress width (assuming a box spring bed), there are just under 70 cm left from the edge of the bed to the wall at the top of the plan. It will probably be only around 60 cm, because you don’t put the nightstand right next to the window opening.
[*]Bathroom 11 sqm for washbasin, toilet and shower? Still, there will be a relative bottleneck in the path between washbasin and toilet.
Yes, I removed the north arrow. But your assumption about directions is correct. I also considered it, but putting a couch in front of a floor-to-ceiling window seems wasteful to me somewhere.
Ok, the window will of course not provide widespread light. I’ll mention it.
In the bedroom, the wardrobe will be placed in an L-shape. Pax is already there. Additionally, two dressers will be placed in front of the wall that is recessed 30.5 cm backwards. The parents’ bed is currently positioned like that with us, and my side works there too. We can still move the bed down a bit since the access to the garage terrace won’t be coming for now.
The bathroom is planned differently now. The toilet and washbasin remain in the same place, but the shower will only be enclosed by a straight wall and accessible from the side of the toilet. Very open and the light from the window works quite well there. Unfortunately, I can’t publish the plan.
Thanks for the comments!
