Why should I? You only answer questions halfway. If the upper floor, which doesn't interest you, has a roof pitch, the stairs won't work.

The comment about the wardrobe was directed at Haydee, not at you, Matthew.

Yes, we have the budget.

The property is currently being transferred to us. The surveyor has already been here; a notary appointment is difficult due to the current situation.
The front property belongs to my father and he is transferring the rear part to me.

We are very skilled craftsmen and have already gained experience in a complete renovation. Therefore, we dare to do quite a bit. How much and especially which own work we contribute depends on the construction method (solid vs prefab house) and the construction costs.

I think, unlike other floor plans, I have already delivered a lot. The exact dimensions, the furniture, the north arrow. I really tried to think of everything.

I know. I also really like your other ideas and suggestions. If we don't find a solution with the L, we will have to revert to the classic form.

From our point of view, the biggest drawback is the combination of the bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor; the rest (relocating the wardrobe? making the stairs wider?) are minor details. We were hoping to find ideas on how to solve that...

I answered everything except the question about the budget. A 'we can afford it' was not accepted.

You mean per piece, right? So approx. 20k to 30k additional cost per side for a flat roof with terrace compared to a hipped roof?
Do you have any experience with that?
That’s the ballpark figure that was roughly given to us...

The roof terrace would definitely be cool, but it’s the first thing we would cut if we don’t like the price.

In this forum, however, the discussion is not bi- but multilateral, you have to be able to handle that.
