The attic is currently being prepared; there is about 20 centimeters of space (in height) between the wooden beam ceiling, so I will add a layer of perlite loose fill there. I hope that is sufficient for sound insulation. The old wooden beams have been leveled so that I have a flat surface. As the top layer, 22mm OSB with tongue and groove will be used. These will be glued. Does anyone have a different idea for the construction or can someone tell me if the loose fill is sufficient for sound insulation? Here is a picture showing what it looks like in the attic.
