Is financing a single-family house feasible for us?

The plot is 300 sqm and the building envelope is 8 x 10m. The living area is 160 sqm. Do you have two floors plus an attic for living? What is planned for the basement, what should go in there? Is the plot roughly flat or sloping?

Well, most houses built here in the last few years have a carport + parking space, so the statement is obviously nonsense. Our parents both have a double garage, that's where the wish comes from. But that seems to me to have been a different time :-(

Well... Nowadays many do build carports, that's true. In our new development area (currently already 30 finished houses), at least 20 have a double finished garage... Just not built with bricks like 8x7 or similar but simply a large garage 6x6m from KEMMLER or similar for 25k.

Am I the only one who would NOT paint the basement with a 300m² plot because there is simply too little space above ground for a basement replacement room?

We have 2 full floors and a small knee wall in the attic.
A study/guest room is planned in the attic, but that could also be pushed to the back. However, it won’t save huge amounts either.
The basement is intended for a utility room, workshop, technology/heating, and party room.

The plot has a slight slope.

I also wanted a prefabricated garage. That could still be done well later, but....
