Objection.

It is exactly a gain when used as a contrast to the furniture that, in one way or another, is supposed to have an eye-catching liveliness.

Since I appreciate such furniture, mainly made of wood, a wooden floor is out of the question for me. Too little contrast in material mix. Or it would have to be something limewashed or blackened, which I also don't find that great.

As always, a matter of taste.

I also placed my kitchen only on the screed (was a makeshift solution because the screed was higher than planned - the house tilting due to ground damage). The floor now goes directly up to the feet of the kitchen, which no one can see thanks to the panel at the bottom). Really do it that way.

Why actually the perfect tile?

Wouldn't "any" pleasing tile that fits the furnishings do?

When renovating our existing property, we left the old tiled floor in place. It matches the color of our furniture well, doesn't look dirty quickly. Neither in size nor color would we have ever chosen it ourselves.

But since the most important things were checked, we left them in and it looks good. No thought that the PERFECT tile would have been needed as a replacement.

I find the demand too high and not productive. Especially after the construction story described here.

Getting moving with 80% pareto would be much more important in my opinion.

There is no "perfect" tile - at least not for you. Well, it doesn't have to be just any tile, but with the demand that it should have the wow effect, etc... I think that's exactly how it shouldn't be. The wow effect is made by the furniture. Personally, I've already had the third sofa (reasons being personal restructuring, dog and so on) and not once did the tile bother me because it subordinated itself. Nevertheless, it naturally radiates over the surface. It simply comes down to your reluctance to make decisive decisions as well as an overestimation of a floor.

Why do you have two profiles? Apparently, you have been dithering over the decision for half a year? That’s not normal, is it?! How many sqm is it about?

Don't understand the whole problem - just go to a proper tile store .... You are showing us screenshots from Hornbach or other places from the internet - I wouldn't find anything there either... GD
