Well, you don’t have a house to have additional costs and to regulate their amount, but because of living and living comfort, you want a new building. Heating costs may be lower then, property tax higher due to the house value, in the old building the house value is lower because the energy costs are comparatively high. Despite the increase, you have the comfort of a new building and definitely not the short end of the stick. What are those in the old building supposed to say: an increase too, in addition to the used energy-wasting house.

Well, I renovated to new construction. But because of the cut-off date, I am paying for a "demolition shack." Fair? No idea, but I am even happy about a (noticeable) reduction in property tax.

It may have been expressed a bit provocatively. Of course, we are glad and happy with our new building. But other friends who have newly built are also upset about the sometimes almost 50% increase in property tax.

And you believe a landlord will pay the property tax increase themselves and not add it to the rent? Even with a 50% increase, are we talking about? 600 to 900 EUR per year? 25 EUR more per month. If that knocks you out, then.

What do you mean by that? Property tax can still be charged through operating costs, right? Yes, someone wants to change that and then it has to be included in the rent, but then rent control and neighborhood protection apply.

That will certainly further increase the motivation to become landlords and create living space.
