How to deal with increasing property tax burden?

Sounds like a classic to me... built where it's cheap and worked where you earn well.

The problem is unfortunately... where you earn well, building is expensive, and where building is cheap, you don't earn well...
You can (unfortunately) only do this if you're not tied to a workplace, so working in the field or almost 100% from home office.

But what should we take from this now? 54k is already a really good salary for a normal skilled worker in day shift, you'll never get that outside of large industry in your life.
