Sounds like the classic... built where it's cheap and worked where you earn well.
The problem is unfortunately... where you earn well, building is expensive, and where building is cheap, you don't earn well... You can (unfortunately) only do this if you are not tied to a workplace, so in field service or working almost 100% in a home office.
But what should we take from this now? 54k is already a really good salary for a normal skilled worker on day shift, you will never get that outside of heavy industry in your life.
