The following I am not writing directed at you, but on the occasion of the content I hear so often. I do not know what you do yourself.
Anyone who believes that voting alone is enough to maintain a democratic society is mistaken. Politics starts with me and you in the community. Hardly anyone follows the local meetings or is willing to engage. Those who have no time to contribute to shaping society are passive co-causers of grievances.
Being a citizen is not like being a customer. Paying and letting others do things and complaining about every mistake does not work.
