True. I overlooked the lounger. See, again. One likes it, another doesn’t at all. You’re right, there is no real separation anymore between sleeping and living. In your plan, the utility room downstairs is missing for me. For example, that’s where we also have the freezer chest, pantry shelf, and in the old house even the fridge. And where to put the washing machine and dryer? The heating is also upstairs with me, you don’t have to go there every day. .... The kitchen is important already, eating even more so. For two. And there is the morning sun while having breakfast. That’s something too.

Knee wall 25 cm and 40 degrees roof.

I don’t know the program, probably Windows-based. I work with Linux and there is only this sweethome as freeware....

Vacuum cleaner and co in the wall cabinet in the hallway
Washing machine/dryer in the bathroom with outside exit
Freezer cabinet could, as described, be used as separate storage under the stairs from the kitchen, same for a pantry cabinet.

Yes, I saw the heating upstairs, but it seems impractically far away for hot water lines, etc.

Overall, my plan is meant to be an inspiration. I would primarily design the private area a bit more separately, whether it includes the sauna or not doesn't matter.

Maybe I feel like placing the sauna upstairs again in my plan, although I consider it more appropriate downstairs.

And yes, Windowswelt .

I also find the plan from kbt better overall. Especially the shared dressing room is an improvement in my eyes. Just think about the person who does the laundry and always has to distribute it in two rooms. That is solved much better here! You can separate the sauna from the bathroom and plan it upstairs. Although I don’t think the sauna in the bathroom is a bad idea: this way you basically have to build a full bathroom in the attic (if it’s not planned anyway because of guests), which of course makes things more expensive. And if I hear that right, the dear wife prefers to sauna alone? Then instead of resting on a deck chair, she could lie down in her bedroom. In the new houses, the bedrooms are no longer cold but have living-room warmth, so it’s also pleasant after the sauna. You wouldn’t need your own deck chair for that. Your new plan is better too (although, as I said, I like the idea of a shared dressing room), but I would definitely swap the utility room and the entrance. That way you really have your private area private, and no one coming in walks in front of your bedroom and bathroom.

For me, it is now to be considered completed downstairs. Upstairs, the sauna must be above the other baths downstairs. Remember the pipes! Karsten
