Minimum floor area - utility room and AZ on the ground floor - without basement

Whether it is possible to accommodate a study or utility room in an outbuilding probably depends on the development plan.

I am not talking about an outbuilding here, but it is part of the house and only accessible from the inside. Although we have already had a case here where the technical room was actually built in a separate building. Technical rooms may apparently also be built in the boundary area ;)

The upper floor is to have a bedroom, 2 children's rooms and a bathroom.

Do you think a technical room of this size is sufficient? The study is of course also comparatively compact. Do you generally have any comments on the floor plan?

I find the Technikraum für Technik und Hauswirtschaftsraum too small. However, upstairs, thanks to the gerade Treppe, there is a lot of air space.

That depends on what is inside. Central ventilation needs space. Inverters for photovoltaic and battery as well. Then there are the things that are definitely in there: electrical box, heating, house entry, water distribution. If you also want to fit a washing machine and dryer, then it's fully packed. 9 sqm for a study room is actually more than enough. You'll be sitting there alone with a computer anyway.

Normally, one can generally say about catalogue floor plans that they work as long as they are adopted unchanged. Specifically regarding technical rooms, this applies accordingly subject to the heating technology also being unchanged. And with exactly this, there are significant differences: where the installation area for the "boiler" fits for one heating technology, it can collide with the clearance space for the electrician working with the fuse box in another. Even seemingly "free" spaces on the plan can serve such a purpose and therefore cannot be used as installation spaces for equipment.

We have what you listed on about 151 sqm.

The office is small (7.5 sqm) because when I work from home I am basically only reachable by phone and email and don't have folders or other work stuff with me.

Our living/dining and semi-open kitchen area has a total of 50 sqm.

We don’t have a shower on the ground floor (but we didn’t want one either), only a guest toilet (2.5 sqm).

Do you think a technical room of that size is sufficient?

Our technical room on the ground floor has 5 sqm.

It contains technology (no photovoltaic, but controlled residential ventilation, heating, multi-utility, electrical panel). We have the washing machine and dryer upstairs in the utility room with about 6.5 sqm.
