Yes, we would usually have done that too. But I think the concept is quite good and compared to the 40,000€ BAFA-eligible LWWP with ventilation that everyone else wanted to push on me (and which would not help me in the end since I no longer receive BAFA ;) ) it’s not that expensive anymore. Ultimately, the decision was made because the contractor just does it that way and the package was simply the better offer. And it is definitely the better concept, even if not the most economical. PS: I have to say I’m surprised every time how much colder it is up there compared to Konstanz. Distance from the lake and 260m more altitude really make a difference.
