BAFA funding - experiences with payout duration?

Not bad. Bafa also went well for us, the additional funding from the city of Cologne. Well, cloak of silence.

And I just realized that I have a typo in it:

- on 12/20 the letter from BAFA arrives (issue date 12/19), stating that we can expect a payment within the next 2 weeks,

The letter arrived on the 27th, not on the 20th.

Policyholder uploaded in January 2023, payout in July 2023. It was already a lot of money, but we had not factored that in, so that we improved our "buffer" a bit with it.

might also depend on the respective office. If some have a high rate of illness, processing may take longer.

Have you also uploaded proof of payment to the BAFA? I have just finally applied for the funding, i.e. submitted the invoices and contractor declaration, etc. There was no request for proof of payment anywhere; however, the energy consultant said they would probably be needed? Your experiences?

On your overview page in the BAFA portal, you have three icons under "Aktionen." When you hover the mouse over the middle one, the description appears ("Dokumente zum Antrag hochladen"). There you can upload your invoices. I took care of that at the same time as submitting the proof of use. If something is missing, it will certainly waste time again because BAFA will first send you a letter asking you to submit or upload the corresponding invoices. Apparently, it is no longer possible by mail. I had to submit the documents digitally (which makes sense).

However, none of this is user-friendly. It also took me a while to get the hang of it.
