I merely think that "well-intentioned" is not the same as "well done" does not avoid airspace, and here an airspace was misplaced as "ordered but not picked up." I am still quite satisfied with my red car, except that it could be redder – Opel simply has a deficit when it comes to painting cars a stable red.

Yes, the elimination of the major blunders is progressing far enough that one can now discuss details.

I don't like the mini toilet room in the master bathroom at all. I find something like that oppressive. Also, I miss having a sink there. I want to wash my hands before opening a door. I would make the upper wall, where the door is now drawn, into a privacy screen, maybe even higher, so a cabinet can be placed there and accessed from the left side of the plan. Such a door is not soundproof anyway. So either you use the bathroom including the toilet together or not, in my opinion a separate toilet room doesn't make a difference in what the other person hears.

Many idiosyncratic mistakes have already been smoothed out. Great. The dressing room as well as the bedroom give me no sense of space at all. In the bathroom, the furniture just seems to be placed in randomly at first. I find that arbitrary and it has more the charm of a junk room – there has to be space for the tub somewhere, so I just push the rest further away (or something like that). With a width of 2.78 meters and a size of 10 sqm, it should really fit. Later, you won’t be able to fix it and will have to do without the beloved double sink. You should also consider whether these quarter-circle showers are really desired. Square ones are hard to furnish, and the sink in the corner of the guest WC also doesn’t look really functional. What also stands out is the size of the sofa: something doesn’t fit. I don’t find the west-facing windows sufficient; a large one in the living room would fit well. At the moment, the house turns away from the garden. What is the bar in the kitchen for? Where does one look from there? It somehow hangs there awkwardly in the middle of the room, this narrow piece... The chimney on the upper floor doesn’t match the one on the ground floor. The washing machine planning is right in front of the garage door... maybe just try playing through everyday life and daily routines. And think about whether the tools, onions, suitcase, and yellow bags should all be stored together in one room, where hand laundry is also supposed to dry. I can reveal now what caught my negative attention first: when you come down the stairs, you look half at a wall and half into the cloakroom along the line of sight. And even if there were a door there, the picture would bother me. Either a fully centered closed wall or a deliberate asymmetry, but not into a cloakroom. The same applies to the upper stair landing. But that can be balanced with a floor lamp. A greater distance from the outer wall would be better. The whole (staircase) would be more important to me than the open space. One must not underestimate the power of the sun in the open space above. That will not be a blessing, that will be a curse. Personally, I would NOT orient the terrace toward the neighbor if there is so much garden space on the side. I also wouldn’t place the house so far forward, as a large front yard has always had a good and beautiful purpose.

We also didn’t like the separate toilet room in the master bathroom, and the arrangement of all the furniture (among other things in the bathrooms and in the utility room) had so far been rather arbitrary, since we initially focused on room layout and size.

Thank you very much for the tip regarding the stairs, we had not noticed that until now. Since we prefer a straight staircase anyway, we have now included it in the next version. However, there is still the option to rotate the stairs and do without the open space, but so far we like it better with the open character. The not entirely symmetrical window at the upper stair landing doesn’t bother us, since, as you suggested, it can be balanced with a decorative element.

What do you think about the budget? Is it sufficient?

why a third shower downstairs in the guest WC? I find the dining area too cramped. The budget should actually be sufficient

How long is the staircase now, and how high is the ground floor planned? To me, there are too many corridors instead of rooms: the kitchen consists only of a corridor, the dressing room and bedroom as well. To me, there are too many escape routes that in no way create space. Don’t get me wrong, I like it spacious and open, but these escape routes are something different. You have to differentiate. But I think I already said that. The living room with the furnishings is actually the same if the sofa is to be where it is. You can also design large rooms to be cozy, which is not the case here. You also need to be careful with the acoustics. Size and purist furnishings combined with an open space will create a considerable echo. It is already like that with us, although our open space is closed off by the sloping roof.
