Exceptionally, this time about the drafts of the TE: I recognize your wishes and ideas in the draft. Unfortunately, the addition of the details does not lead to a well-livable result. The ratio of wasteful generosity (hallway, airspace, area underneath) to tight space allocation (baths, storage) seems peculiar. As if the space ran out and then a bathroom was just squeezed in. Below, on the other hand, the imagination for a good connection of living and dining areas in a large room is missing. The staircase bends somewhere, since the stove is more important. The windows are planned afterward, as if they were not an integral part of living quality. The planning approach is not goal-oriented, accordingly the result is - attention to detail in individual aspects notwithstanding.

There is no separate thread. You will find a few pictures in the forum. The floor plan I posted is from "Regnauer Munich".

Airspace is great. Therefore, we have almost fully utilized it and simply omitted the upper floor largely. However, this does not help the OP either.

I understand that Alessandro is attached to his airspace - the upper hallway is nicely designed and I also like the railings. Still, the airspace is too small and narrow for me, and you really have to think carefully about whether it fits into the overall concept. In the TE it simply doesn’t fit because the overall concept is not coherent. It is Alessandro who is so fixated on the airspace here, not me; for me it was just one of many points that make the floor plan appear unbalanced.

I also find the floor plan of the TS to be in great need of improvement. I was referring to your statement in #16, which relates to the Regnauer floor plan. I completely disagree that there is a lot wrong here and that it is comparable to a tiny house, as you write. This also includes the air space.

Hello again and many thanks once more for the lively discussion.

The suggestions have once again led to a new draft (see below; internal dimensions entered manually). On the ground floor, we have completely changed the staircase and enlarged the guest WC, so there is now the option for an additional shower. The space under the stairs could be used either for a small chest of drawers + pictures or additional wardrobe space (open staircase) or as extra storage space (closed staircase). Furthermore, we have planned a mirror in the wardrobe, which eliminates the need for the closet space opposite. In the kitchen, we have rotated the cooking island so that we can accommodate an additional counter with 2 bar stools. At this point, many thanks also for the idea of a continuous kitchen line with a hidden door. Friends of ours are currently implementing something like this, and we will definitely take a look at it.

On the upper floor, we have done without the storage room. As a result, we also have an open corridor with windows on both sides. Due to the changed staircase, we were able to enlarge the open space to 3.0m x 2.5m, which in our view is sufficient. As has been emphasized several times, it is simply a matter of taste. However, there remains the option of an open room with a reading corner or similar.

We do not see the draft as unproductive (admittedly, the second draft still had some significant shortcomings). In this third draft, we have now, thanks in part to your help, accommodated all the necessary rooms in sufficient size and appropriate arrangement, from our point of view. The “wasted” space is certainly not larger than in the often praised "Regnauer Munich" floor plan. Nevertheless, of course, we remain open to suggestions and criticism.
