One could also say that the side wall is too short. It depends on the showering habits. I myself have seen quite a few T-floor plans in real life and no bathroom convinced me. Each was too tight between bathtub and washbasin. However, this might work well here. No, the toilet should be near natural light, it is good as it is. … and definitely don’t push sanitary fixtures into corners, that certainly doesn’t create spaciousness.

That is certainly subjective. If I were sitting in the bathtub, I wouldn’t appreciate spaciousness but coziness. And I would have more of that in the corner than in the room.

Of course, that is in its nature. "Space hog" is practically the T-solution's middle name. After all, you also have to walk around the "gained" linear meters of wall. The phenomenon is similar to a single-flight straight staircase: it also looks like it requires little space but generates a large amount of circulation area.

Design theory is not subjective. People also don't like being cornered.

Also in the theory of design principles, there are different placements for each sanitary object. But one should not rely too heavily on the theory when designing one's personal living space. How comfortable someone feels in a room is very subjective. Put 10 people in the same room and they will perceive it differently. And it’s not without reason that there are corner bathtubs, because many people feel comfortable in them.

Referring to post #84, I still owe you the shell dimensions. ;)

I wanted to discuss 2 things with you.

1. The kitchen planner told me that the optimal door width for the access from the kitchen to the pantry is 80 cm with a distance of 65 cm from the wall. Then the kitchen cabinet fits perfectly to the door opening. I had discussed with the general contractor that it is probably better to take the next suitable shell dimension for a DIN-compliant door. That would be 76 cm and would have the advantage that a DIN-compliant door can still be installed later. Would you do it that way too, or should I take the 80 cm?

2. The terrace exit from the kitchen now has a normal door. I am considering whether it would be better to use a lift-and-slide door for it. Even without a lift-and-slide door, the door can be opened, but the traffic route would be blocked.

What do you think about the two points?
