@ all bathroom questioners: please ALWAYS link to the post where the structural shell plans of the affected and the floor below can be found. After all, the whole fuss has to be connected to the supply and disposal networks.

Thanks for the alternative. :)

I like the T better, especially when you come in and look directly at the washbasin. But with a nice bathtub it probably looks good too.

As Hanghaus2023 already said, the wall area is larger, so there is more space for cabinets.

Exactly, the wall area is larger. My wife preferred that we keep the shower and toilet as I have drawn them now. The planner originally swapped them. Maybe I won’t swap them either. ;)

Which wall is longer? Unfortunately, I don’t get it. The footprint is the same in both versions. The only difference, in my opinion, is that all the cabinets are in one row if the sinks move to the left wall of the plan. I also find the question about the supposed narrowness caused by the T and a desired alternative somewhat confusing. When an example is given, it sounds as if one never actually wanted anything other than the T.

you misunderstood something. The wall is 3.14 m, the one at the T is only 2.25 m. It is clear that the walls are the same length in total. Only a nice bathroom furniture wall fits better on the long wall.

I would place the bathtub towards the bottom of the plan, so you don’t have the edge right when you come in. And it’s also cozier when bathing. And I would also swap the toilet and shower. You go to the toilet more often, so I would want the shorter route there, and the shower rather in the quieter corner.

Then maybe I expressed myself incorrectly. I was actually more concerned with having an alternative, and I was additionally surprised that the T solution takes up so much space. Both are unrelated.
