Better containers than Tuscany with columns. With that budget, I would have thought of shifted cubes.

Phew, I thought exactly the same (school). I find it somewhat unimaginative. Otherwise, you have to study such an architectural floor plan longer; the design even has some visual elements and surprises in store. What immediately caught my eye: windows are not suitable for a cozy TV corner, I would swap parents with guests, and from the dining area, you look into the exit/wardrobe.

Thank you for your contributions! This is the first draft after all, and you have also mentioned some things that we don’t like so much.

The granny flat is not necessary, but as suspected, it would be the office / dressing room / WC.

I also find the living room too long; I might possibly divide it so that you have the couch/TV in one area and then, for example, a reading corner with a fireplace facing the hallway / kitchen.

The island is too small—I have already discussed this with the kitchen planner. I wonder if there is even enough space for workspace and cabinets.

I don’t know if it would make sense to swap the living room with the kitchen, with the dining room in the middle. But I think it’s better to have the living room in the west for the evening sun and the kitchen in the east for the morning sun. However, the pool must stay in the east, and I find it better located in front of the kitchen so you can cook and watch the children. There is also little space for the terrace in the west, and it should be next to the kitchen.

The children's bathroom will be bigger—we will include the bathtub there and then have a smaller master bathroom without a bathtub (no time for bathing with 3 children).

The hallway upstairs is exactly like in the KiGa, that’s true! But it’s not clear to me how we should change that. The south side (with the mountain view) is by far the nicest, and it would be great if all bedrooms faced south. The street is on the north side, and neighbors will look in from the east.

I would have no objection to changing the stairs; they don’t have to be straight, although I think that suits the house style.

The facade should go in this direction (but the budget is not enough for this house!). And here is a photo of the south view that we definitely want to see from the bedrooms.

Now be honest: if you already see bath time as unfeasible with 3 kids, when and how do you want to enjoy the view in the bedroom? You don’t stand there with your nose pressed against the glass or deliberately linger to look at a photo wallpaper. You dash into the east kitchen to make coffee and catch the scenery from there. It also sleeps quite badly for you in the south. And granting the children some privacy in the evening, as well as yourself, has many advantages. Therefore, I would personally want to spend one or the other break working from home with such a location.
