I looked at the elevations again: those are definitely venetian blinds indicated on floor-to-ceiling windows there: THERE IS DEFINITELY way too much window area for a bedroom. Brightness is nice, but the heat from the sun stays in the room. You can't get it out. You would have to use technology for that again. And as already said: you don't relax in the bedroom to enjoy beautiful views. Give the kids that, and that’s fine.
The room itself, and considering that the facade can always handle a solid wall here and there, I would give the bedroom, if it is to stay upstairs, an east window. A balcony door, for sauna purposes, should probably stay. Forego the south side, because: a normal bed would have trouble with the width in that position... it is also always nicer to look onto the bed when entering.
The trees in the south are 20 to 30 meters high and provide a lot of shade in summer. I can't come to terms with moving the bedrooms to the north when you see the street and neighbors there. Or is there another solution?
