Regarding the topic of the dressing table, Plan B comes to mind, which in my opinion is more like Plan A: a washbasin unit in the bathroom with enough counter space along its length so you can get ready there. A dressing table in the bathroom is, in my opinion, feasible especially with a master bathroom. Personally, I find the space consumption for the parents somewhat excessive. But yes, the space is there. Only if you play Tetris, then I would consider options regarding the dressing area. But every woman is different ;)

Possibly I was not fully focused on the thread this week and my question has already been answered: what is important is that the architect associates the same ideas with the makeup station as the owners. It makes a significant difference whether it is an everyday makeup station or a dressing-up makeup station for the opera visit.

I would reduce the ceiling height by one level right away. That relaxes the entire floor plan (budget). I really don't like that the front door is so far back and the parking spaces are so far forward.

Dear forum,
the architect was busy and sent two versions for the upper floor. Both versions have their pros and cons. Version 1 has the advantage of a brighter hallway and a better layout of the parents' area. Unfortunately, the office is a bit smaller. Version 2 lacks a separate office and, due to the light well above the kitchen, it would also become too noisy. Moreover, the utility room is located in the parents' area.
We are curious to hear what you think.

Thanks for the tip about shortening the step!! The garage should be at the back (right side of the plan). We also don't like that the front door is at the back, but we wanted the living room to be at the front and not the entrance area.

So option 2 is out due to lack of office space. Regarding option 1 - I think it’s quite successful given the specifications. Personally, I just don’t like the parents’ area that much. Firstly, I find sliding doors in the bathroom totally unsuitable. You first have to find one that seals properly. Also, from the bed you look into the dressing room, at the door, this piece of wall, and on the right you enter the bathroom. It all seems so open, restless, and uncomfortable – you can’t relax at all. But other than that – why not?
