We spoke with the architect today. So the clear ceiling height on the ground floor is 2.75 m and on the upper floor 2.50 m.
Additionally, we discussed the upper floor a lot. The architect is very confident about his design and said that it makes sense for the children's rooms to be located in the west (top of the plan), so that they do not get full sun in the summer and do not overheat. On the south side (Child 1), he would also prefer to install a small window (not floor-to-ceiling).
He would integrate the downpipes into the wall in the living room so that they are not visible. He also said that, for example, you would not hear the flushing as the pipes are sound-insulated. Is that realistic?
We really like the parents' area in the architect’s floor plan because all our wishes can be realized with it.
Otherwise, we also like your design :) The rooms all have a very straight line, which we like.
We explained this to the architect as well. What would not work here are the respective 3 m in the dressing room.
Is there a way that we could somehow achieve this? In addition, we would reduce the size of the bedroom slightly and enlarge the office accordingly.
We want to send the design to the architect on Sunday.
Here is an alternative layout of the upper floor to get rid of the bathrooms above the living room and to use the rooms better, as I think.
The children's rooms occupy the south gable and thus both have the opportunity for windows on two sides and lots of light. The bathrooms are ideally disposed of over the storage room behind the kitchen. Whether that still works with the children's bathroom would have to be asked. Likewise, the utility room – here only "thin" pipes lie, which might be stretchable a bit. Bedroom in the cool north, office has to take what is left.

Now you might consider whether you want the hallway narrower again and insert the setback into the children's room. These are details that would simply be implementable. Without views, however, it is difficult to say whether it is worth it.
