For me personally, still rather than in post #91, where the secondary ridge is above the eave of the main roof (there I would whistle "off to the side" regarding subordination) - a setback from the main gable side would help make the part under the secondary gable look more like an annex - also to precise council members.

On the other hand, I see this as complied with in the case of a secondary gable without a risalit - so a "smooth" eave-side house edge with a Frisian gable is conceivable, and I would grant it the dormer-usual third width.

But the car sits there much more often than a person at the coffee table, i.e. the "nuisance" from the sight of the car is more permanent.

I don’t know. I only make site plans. You look at it from above.

Here are the neighbors as Aunt Google sees them:

P.S.: I haven’t checked the copyright. If problematic, please delete.

With corresponding roof structures, even as a bay window.

Not visually There is this forum for introductions? Otherwise I could still show some pictures of the finished state in the house pictures thread

That's a pity, and you "should" catch up on that. Not or, but also. From my point of view, no one here needs to limit themselves to houses still in the aggregate state of a dream. In the house pictures thread, I find just the pictures most appropriate, and drawings then accordingly in a planning section, i.e., general or floor plan. And also in the financing section (though not by me, I hardly read anything there) people are certainly happy about concrete realized budget plans.

So, I could still understand the discussion about the eaves side. But why is it not two stories? Do the usual 2/3 rules not apply for the second floor?
