Well, we are only resistant to advice regarding the sun, because we have no other option here. Otherwise, we are actually very satisfied with the design, if a pleasant solution for the staircase can still be found.

Well then – some people are just easily pleased. How much space was there again between the wardrobes in the dressing room? 50cm? A good reason to stay slim for life! Brilliant! Just try reversing the direction of the stairs in the "architect's draft." Maybe that will help.

And if the door to the dressing room is open, no one can get in or out anymore. The dressing room is a completely unusable design flaw. I also doubt that an architect planned this. If yes -> find a new one...

Btw. the utility room on the ground floor is also incredibly poorly usable with all the doors and windows.

I can reassure you, because according to the floor plans there is actually no front door

I can fully agree with both.

Do yourselves a favor and have an independent house designed. This concept of going to the builder Jupp Schmitz and saying: "Our plot is in a tail position, but please build us a Viebrockhaus 666 on it anyway" still lies at the lower end of the penalty scale with a hopelessly screwed up dressing room and a kinked utility room.

Thank you all, we will cover the "Umkleide" today. If we remove the wall, we will probably have a large bedroom and the same space for wardrobes... And we won't have to diet for life.

Well, the architect implemented what we wished for. So, I wouldn't blame him here. We actually find the utility room quite practical, especially because of the kink. The washing machine fits in perfectly here, and above it, for example, you can nicely install shelves or a wall cabinet. I will get back to you once we have the updated plans and hopefully a satisfactory solution with the stairs.

You don’t need to. Just build, you don’t care anyway what is said here, namely that the whole design is rubbish and you have to start from scratch. But OK, just spend the money, it’s not the forum’s problem.
