I would also use Terrace 2. With small children, the pool would otherwise be too close to the house for me. With Terrace 2, you would have a few more meters to stop the kids.

Terrace 2 for the pool
Terrace 1 for the children
There is nothing better than being able to leave small children alone for a short while. I would have a bad feeling about that with a pool.

Thank you very much for your feedback! The pool is now planned for Terrace 2. The landscaper has now arrived and is working his way up from below (i.e., valley side). An agreement could be reached with a (non-direct) neighbor. We want to get rid of about 300m3 of rubble; he can make use of it...

Since the last posts in mid-May, not much has happened, also due to the holidays. The shell builder had still completed the backfilling in front of the house and the outdoor stairs. The roof frame is now finished, the tiles were delivered today, and the roof will be covered by the end of this week. The electrician has started; plumbing starts tomorrow; the small windows and doors are arriving this week. The large south-facing windows only in two weeks.

The shell construction was also inspected. There were only a few items on the punch list. They really did a top job!

Now we need to speed things up. The apartment is terminated at the end of November. This will be a hot phase, especially with the three kids (5 years, 3 years, 1 month).

And the digging continues. Half of the pile is already gone.

The roof is now mostly covered. The tiles for the snow retention grids were missing. These will be replaced later and the hole closed. The next step will be the flat roof sealing (balconies and terrace). A delicate step that will hopefully be watched by many vigilant eyes. However, a part of the scaffolding must first be removed for this.

The distributor for the ground collector is also installed and the line from the heat pump to it is also laid. Tomorrow I can then weld the sockets. After the rainwater filter, valves will also be installed. This way it can later be controlled whether water goes into the pool, for watering, or for infiltration. The infiltration then takes place via drainage pipes above the ground collector. This way, the collector receives additional energy during the cold season, as water is rarely needed in the pool then.
