You mean something like this?
I'm afraid the office will be really small. Wasn't she a teacher and needs it every day?
Hello,
Thanks for your suggestions, yes she is a teacher.
The sink will be removed and placed in the storage room by the garage, I find that quite practical when you come in dirty from the garden...
The door from the garage was still quite important to us, so we'd rather give up a shelf for it.
We want to put a long shelf in the pantry up to under the stairs, on the wall facing the hallway.
Yes, the sofa corner might seem relatively small, but for us the distance to the TV is sufficient.
Regarding the bathroom, it will certainly become a bit more cramped and awkward, but we didn't want an open shower nor a door or glass walls, so the T-solution is quite practical...
Additionally, we would like built-in niches in the shower and at the toilet for toilet paper.
Without drywall, that's difficult...
We just don't know whether to make the shower deeper and move the toilet towards the bedroom, or if it would become too tight.
The wall of the bedroom was initially as you drew it, but 1.5m in front of the bed is still enough for a low dresser with a TV above it.
Would you install a skylight dome up in the hallway?
I have some concerns regarding heat protection, cracking in the sun, pattering noise in the rain and sealing... also when the roof is redone one day. Maybe it’s better to just install two spotlights with motion detectors for lighting on dark days; perhaps enough light comes in anyway.
Would you also have the doors to the utility room and guest WC open inward?
Best regards
