Floor plan design / draft single-family house flat roof with double garage

put a lot of effort into this. The upper floor is really very difficult. Somehow there is one room too many. Without the study, I think it would work well.

I can't quite place the garage on the ground floor. Did I get something wrong or is the driveway not rotated by 90 degrees now? Then the garage would be in front of the house, right?

Maybe it's better to leave out the bicycle thing and then slide it flush against the left side of the house for a pleasant driveway. Or is the driveway not at the top of the plan at all?

As I said, we wouldn't know how else to place our sofa without blocking the glass front.. and properly watching TV

A corner sofa is a dictator in every furnishing or floor plan. Giving it to the animal shelter is like a liberation blow. I have only seen a decent TV positioning once in my almost one and a half years in this forum, with - unfortunately, you need a hillside property to replicate it that way.

Above is basically the street without a sidewalk and only passable in one lane, ending 3 properties later as a dead end. The property slopes upwards sharply at the front, so with the garage on the right side of the building there is only a short driveway unless we move everything much further into the property.

We wanted the garage on the side because it is more visually appealing for us on the flat-roofed house and above all we did not want to lose another 6-7 meters of property at the back. We bought 1100 sqm and have several plans and projects; with a terrace we would have already built over half into the property. In the last 6 meters we are also somewhat restricted in usability due to a right of way for utilities. Hence the idea to place the double garage on the side of the building...
