Morning,
ouch, what have I started here...
No worries! We're just chatting while waiting for your pictures.
People, I didn’t want to start a fundamental discussion "cats or other critters against the rest of the world," that’s hopeless anyway. For 99.9% of all animal owners (whether dog, cat, horse, hamster, or goldfish), their animal is the dearest thing in the world, does nothing wrong, makes no noise, doesn’t poop, doesn’t stink, doesn’t eat or bite anyone, and anyway, anyone who doesn’t also think their darling is totally great is a very bad person.
Tolerance toward the creature is always gladly demanded, but at the same time it is not tolerated that other people don’t like having little piles on their lawn, don’t like being simply licked, and don’t want to be run over.
That an animal is always a personal hobby and that with one’s hobby (whatever it is) one should not annoy other people is unfortunately often forgotten. The personal right to free development must have limits where I disturb, restrict, or even harm other people with it. After all, very few people think of playing the trumpet in the garden at 2:00 a.m.
Such a beautiful text! Replace "animal," "cat," "critters," etc. with child and you’ll get 100% my opinion!
